Under the OLD bail schedule, prior to the Emergency COVID-19 schedule, the total bail was as follows::

  • (Charged as felony 11/17/2019)

PC646.9(b) Stalking in Violation of TRO 

  • Bail 150k
  • UNDER EMERGENCY BAIL SCHEDULE this still HAS BAIL OF 105k
  • Potential Sentence: 24, 36 or 48 months 

PC 273a(a) Willful Cruelty to Child/Possible Injury or Death

  • Bail 100k
  • Potential Sentence: 24, 48 or 72 months

PC 647.6(a)(1) Child Molesting Misdemeanor

  • Bail 20k
  • Sentence: up to one year in custody 


PC 273.6(6) Violating A Restraining, Protective Or Stay Away Order

  • Bail 100k
  • Potential Sentence: 24, 36 or 48 months

There are 9 of these charges so the bail should be 90k:

  • Sentence: up to one year in custody

There are 6 of these charges so the bail should be 60k:

Under NEW Emergency Bail From COVID-19 the total bail goes as follows::

Unger the emergency bail schedule, because of the covid 19, most offenses are set at zero bail except for some exceptions. Gypsy Taub still has bail required. Out of all of  her charges these are the three charges that still have bail (the other charges that were listed before went to zero bail due to COVID-19):

  • PC166     bail required of 60k
  • PC273.6     bail for 90k
  • PC646.9b  Stalking   bail for 150k

-Therefor under the emergency schedule her bail should be 300k-

    Her next court date is January 21, 2021 . It is a "readiness hearing". She may get one last chance for a plea bargain. Her trial will occur about one week later. Please Gypsy: we want you back with us now. Take the deal. Do not languish in jail the way The Naked Guy did.
